Cyndie and Philip

Cyndie and Philip Real Wedding at Villa Sancti Malibu

After Phil and Cyndie met and studied together in college, life led them to unfortunately begin their careers on different coasts. Fatefully in 2005, their college reunion in Los Angeles brought them back together for a chance at love. They easily became best friends and started a relationship that would evolve into the most important one of their lives.

Cyndie came home one day to find Phil making dinner and was asked to let the dogs out to the backyard. As she entered the backyard, she found a romantic phrase “Will you marry me?” carved into pumpkins, set up on the lawn. In shock, Cyndie turned around to find Phil on one knee with a gorgeous ring in hand. This creative idea was a perfect way to signify their love as Phil and Cyndie first met during her freshmen year of college at a pumpkin carving event. She said yes!

Though times were difficult for Cyndie and Phil, as Phil’s mother was diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer and Phil’s father had reunited with him after fifteen years, they proceeded with their gorgeous wedding. Bright yellows, stunning golds and soothing teals set the tone for this romantic, outdoor ceremony at Villa Sancti Di Bella Vista, Malibu, Ca. Cyndie’s astounding Ian Stuart wedding dress glistened in the sunset and was gracefully perfect for their choreographed first dance. Marianne Lozano caught amazing photos from their special day, one that represents the start to a loving and successful marriage. Congratulations to this beautiful couple!
