Veils

Short to Medium Lengths

{Blusher}: Single, short layer of veil covering the face during the ceremony.

{Birdcage}: Vintage style netting worn on top of the crown and over the face.

{Flyaway}: Multiple fabric layers resting just above shoulders.

{Fountain}: Folded fabric to create volume, worn at the crown to the shoulders or elbow.

{Elbow}: Any veil extending from the head to the elbow.

{Fingertip}: Any veil extending from the head to the fingertips.

{Pouf}: Folded fabric attached to the head that creates the illusion of a veil.

{Waterfall}: Fabric fastened to the crown, with cascading edges beginning at shoulder.

 

Long Lengths

{Floor Length}: Any veil extending from the crown to the floor.

{Mantilla}: Spanish style, pinned to the crown and framing the face.

{Chapel}: Any veil extending from the crown to the floor, extending 3 to 4 feet.

{Cathedral}: Any veil extending from the crown to the floor, extending 6 or more feet.

{Waltz}: Any veil extending from the crown to the knees or ankles, also named ballet veil.
