The Dream Dress Experience

On August 13th, a unique concept to wedding dress shopping opened its doors to West LA.

Owner of White Magnolia, located at 2500 S. Sepulveda Blvd, Carolyn Tao “believes that every bride should be able to find her dream wedding dress within her budget.”  The new store provides brides with a luxury bridal salon experience at a budget friendly price. Open Saturday & Sunday from 1030a-7p as well as various hours Wednesday through Friday, brides can schedule an appointment to browse the selection of consigned and donated high-end and couture designer wedding gowns, such as Monique Lhuillier, Anne Barge, Stephen Yearick, and Jim Hjelm, at 40-60% off.

Past brides looking to share their dream dress experience with another bride (and free up some space in their closet at the same time) can choose to conveniently consign or donate their dress. As long as the new, sample, or once worn gown is from the past 5 years, originally retailed for $1500 or more, and has been professionally clean, White Magnolia manages the consignment process for a small fee and sends you the check when your gown sells. If brides would prefer to donate their gown to help women-focused causes, White Magnolia accepts tax-deductible donations of wedding gowns through their non-profit partner, Gowns for Good. 100% of their profits go toward women’s causes through their partner organizations, such as

Dress for Success.
